Homeschooling on the GO: Navigational Look and Finds!

As a member of Timberdoodle’s Blog Team, I was challenged to make a post about homeschooling on the go. The first thing that came to mind was this video I posted back in March about a trick I figured out to help stop the dreaded “are we there yet?” while giving my child a visual way to answer that question for themselves.  As it turns out it’s a great way to teach Navigation Skills, and work on those executive function and pre-reading skills as well! Bonus if you use landmarks from places that can be tricky on your route and give the front passenger a copy to follow along with you end up with a helpful guide to yourself as well!  Curious as to what my trick is? Take a look!
